Sometimes the very nature of our feeling (energy) body can cause us to
judge what we feel because it may go against social or cultural taboos. Our feeling body does not recognize such things and feels what it feels just because it does. Once we start to validate everything we feel we can more easily process and let go of what does not serve us but also keep and value everything that does.

Another important point in learning CNT is to use the freely available unlimited power that comes to us from the heavens the earth and cosmic forces all around us. We learn to rely more on the abundant powers of the universe for healing not our own limited capacity. This is why all CNT practitioners first learn how to heal themselves and to work with the energy of the earth, heavens and cosmic forces.

Another way of saying this and something I explain to all my students, is never let you need to impact a student who comes to you for treatment be more important then the love and joy you feel in giving CNT.

When we stay connected to our love and joy in what we are doing then we can never loose our precious life force in fact we will gain life force and this will also be transmitted to the student receiving.

CNT is amazing for detoxifying the body: CNT assists student’s help their body get rid of excess stagnation. It improves elimination and stimulates the lymphatic and the circulatory system. It also strengthens their immune system and resistance to diseases.

In Chinese medicine Chi is the middle ground between Shen and Jing, translated as Consciousness and Essence, or Awareness and Body. this is represented within our bodies as the heart and sexual organs vertical axis.

In the center between these two is the abdomen. In my opinion the hardest thing about being human is that we are both spirit and matter, part of us is immortal another part of us is mortal. All struggle and suffering is coming to terms with this apparent split

CNT does so much to alleviate this split

Split Inside a Human Being

Think of the earth in this diagram as your abdomen its the one central neutral place within us that allows us to come to terms with spirit/matter, represented by Heart/Kidney and the selfish/selfless needs represented by Lung/Liver.
